CPN annual meeting 8th Oct., 16.00 pm
It's the time again for CPN annual meeting and national day celebration. Due to no need in voting the CPN board, we have decided to have a seminar with a common interesting topic in the beginning of the meeting. The speaker confirmation is still under waiting. However, please reserve this day for you to join us. Detailed information will be given shortly.
CPN gathering to Blaafarveværket on Saturday 17. Sept. 2011
CPN is going to arrange a social activity to visit Blaafarveværket, a Cobalt Mines in Modum, on Saturday 17th September 2011. This gathering is a part of CPN’s project 'Kompetansesenter for Innvandrere', supported by IMDi (The Directorate of Integration and Diversity). The event is jointly organized by CPN, CPN Junior club and Kinaforeningen (Association for Norwegian families with adopted children from China).
2011 summer barbecue festival at Sognsvan
Dear CPN friends,
Hope you all have had a nice summer! It is time now to meet old and new friends again after last gathering and enjoy the summer taste around Sognsvann. This year CPN is going to arrange our summer barbecue festival at Sognsvan (the big lawn near the beach volleyball place) together with CPN Junior Club. All CPN members and parents are warmly welcome to join the festival on Saturday 13. August 2011, from 15:00 - 18:00.

Another successful IMDi seminar about job hunting
Our second IMDi seminar about job hunting, held on May 26th, was well received by the audience. The two speakers, Ms. Marlena H. P. Bråthen and Ms. Anne Live Nævdal, are experienced advisers from European Employment Services, the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration (NAV). They started with a brief introduction about the current labour market trends in Norway in comparison with other European countries. After that they concentrated on the job search in Norway.
