WIN Seminar with Aker Solution

As part of the new CPN strategy to work more closely with Norwegian Industry and to provide support to the international professionals working in Norway, Aker Solutions and CPN jointly arranged a seminar on 2013.04.11.

Initiated by CPN and highly supported by the management in Aker Solutions, the seminar with title “Aker Solutions in Norwegian Oil and Gas Industry” got high attention among the CPN members as well as other groups with international background: totally 85 people from 10 countries or areas registered and attended the seminar.

The seminar was kicked off by Dr. Xinli Wang, the president of CPN. She gave a detail presentation of CPN and its value and mission as well as the projects CPN is planning to take in 2013. Ivar Simensen , the acting Chief Communication Officer in Aker Solutions, followed the program, gave a presentation of Aker Solution as a global leading oil and gas service provider company. The seminar was followed by presentation of Aker Advantage by Lene Rutle, the senior recruitment consultant. She introduced to the participants how the Oil and Gas industry recruitment market in Norway currently is and what is the recruitment strategy and process in Aker Solutions/Aker Advantage As. All presentation was very well received by the audience and trigger lots of discussion.

Both parties thought it was a very good seminar and agreed to further enhance the cooperation in the future.
